After more than a year of development, Mabox Linux 22.12 is now released, codenamed “Istredd”. Mabox Linux is a Manjaro-based rolling distribution with a lightweight Openbox window manager, pre-configured with themes and utilities, and provides a welcome screen with access to utilities that add additional software.

The release announcement highlights two new features related to desktop settings:Colorizer (color picker) and context menu for Conky.

Colorizer is a tool specially created for Mabox, which is convenient for users to adjust the color of the desktop easily and quickly, and can also automatically perform color adjustment operations according to the palette of the currently set wallpaper.

Right-click context menu to manage individual Conky properties such as position on screen, individual colors or color schemes, etc.

Left-click context menu for quick access to user-defined commands. For advanced users, it offers multiple possibilities to customize the desktop according to their needs.
