ezEngine is an open source C++ game engine. It is currently primarily developed on Windows, the core library is also available for other platforms such as Mac and Linux, but higher level features like rendering and tools are only available on Windows.

EZ is built in a modular way, large functions are implemented through engine and editor plugins, such as sound (Fmod), physics (PhysX) and particle effects are provided through runtime plugins, which can be easily removed or replaced.

ezEditor is a mature editor suitable for editing scenes and handling assets.
