yamlfmt is an extensible command line tool or library from Google for formatting yaml files.However, Google does not yet officially support this tool.

The tool is designed to:

• Create an easily distributable command line yaml formatting tool (single binary)
• Simplify extension with new custom formatter
• Enables alternate use as a library, providing a foundation for users to create tools that meet specific needs
