Bitwarden is an open source password management service that allows users to store sensitive information in an encrypted vault. The Bitwarden platform provides a variety of client applications, including web versions, desktop applications, browser extensions, mobile applications, and CLI versions.

A few days ago, Bitwarden updated the Desktop, CLI, Web and Browser versions, bringing the following updates:

Desktop

• Fixed password generator not updating after changing settings
• Rearrange settings for browser integration
• Change forwarded email provider to dropdown
• Added toggle to hide password character count in project mode
• Manage zoom factor when opening/closing the application
• Adjust the design of the disclosure widget
• Accessibility: Adjust the filter on the left
• Accessibility: Make username regenerator button same as password button
• Fix inconsistent row height in lockbox footer

CLI

• Fixed issues with decrypting first name and memo fields
• Fixed CLI incompatibility with Ubuntu Server 22.04
• Fixed bw login failure with apikey parameter
• Fixed an issue where the update command would return the wrong version
• Fixed the problem that bw failed to delete the folder
• Fixed bw delete folder id result not being found when using session environment variables

Browser

• Fixed issue with datepicker color
• Change forwarded mail provider to dropdown
• Fixed intrusive issues when not using extensions
• Adjust the design of the disclosure widget
• Accessibility: make regeneration button for username the same as password button
• Handle verified emails when resending verification emails

Web

• Bugfix for users who disabled Personal Vault
• Avatar Color Picker
• Change forwarded email provider to dropdown
• Provides additional name verification for organizations
• Added toggle to hide password character count in project mode
• Adjust the design of the disclosure widget
• Accessibility: Make username regenerator button same as password button
• Fixed a typo with the file picker
